A
SHORT STORY
Today Alisha has a great day in school, she is really excited today because Tomorrow
is school holiday as there is Dussehera tomorrow. So her teacher made
an interesting session of Ramayana in her class. During period
her teacher shared some interesting facts about life of Ram ,Sita,
Laxman, Hanuman, Ravan and other characters of the story, about how
they had lived their whole life. How Ram and Sita were loyal to each
other , but still Sita had to prove her loyalty by giving Agni Pariksha , which
is Test of loyalty. Alisha is feeling very bad about that Ram just
because of a Dhobi had distrusted his wife in spite he knew what's the
truth was.
In
the evening while having dinner with her father, she started
discussion with her father and tell him that she didn't like how Ram
behaved with his wife just because of a Dhobi. Why didn't he believe
his wife and believed that Dhobi ?Alisha father was listening all her
thoughts carefully and answer her in a simple way.
He
asked his daughter
Do
You know who was father of Sita?
Alisha
replied: Raja Janak
Do
you know who was her Husband?
Alisha
replied: Prince Ram
Do
you know who is Father in law of Sita?
Alisha
replied : Raja Dashrath.
And her father said to her; Do you notice one common thing in all these three persons?
She
said – Yes, all three were kings.
Her
father said , exactly . Sita was a King's daughter, Prince wife and
King's daughter in law, born with a silver spoon. But one thing can
be learn from her life that no matter where you born its all your
Karmas and labour which can get you into some place. One has to be
Karmayogi but also has to suffer results of his good karmas and bad
karmas. We all here to complete our journey and to make and realise
our destiny by creating and making difference out of our Karmas.
Alisha
got the answer ;One has to bear all the relief and pains created
because of his/her karma and opened books available with her to find out what were the past karmas of Sita because of which she had suffered so much even though she was innocent.....
I want to add some more lines I read recently in the Novel “Eleven minutes” written by “Paulo Coelho”
In
love , no one can harm anyone else; we are each responsible for our
own feelings and cannot blame someone else for what we feel. No one
loses anyone, because no one owns anyone.
